Welcome!
You have been invited to participate in this Program as you are a faculty member or a university administrator at an accredited university or college who has graduated from an approved Leadership Course.
We are honored that you have chosen to participate in this Program and we are committed to your success.
The Creating Course Leaders Program
This Program is an intellectually rigorous, self-generated and self-paced course of study that will equip you with what it takes for you to reliably produce the promise of Being a Leader and the Effective Exercise of Leadership: An Ontological / Phenomenological Model with your students:
You will leave this course being a leader and exercising leadership effectively as your natural self-expression.
Requirements
The requirements for each participant in the Creating Course Leaders Program are as follows:
-
Before
you begin any other course in the Program, start with the Course, Mastering
Reading the Slides Fully Effectively, by fully reading what is in the
“Start Here” box and then scheduling your One-on-One Coaching Call;
-
Attend each Live Event in the Course, Engaging Live With The Four Areas of Mastery (currently 3 per year). When attendance is not possible for you, complete the make-up assignment by the due date;
-
Submit a minimum of one video assignment every two months until all the video assignments are completed in the two Courses, Mastering Course Content: Course Readings AND Mastering Course Content: Slide-Deck Textbook.
Some Additional Guidelines
-
You may lead the Leadership Course without having completed any of the seven courses. And, if you are currently leading the course or planning to lead the course soon, we recommend that you do what you need to do to complete Mastering Reading the Slides Fully Effectively and Mastering Course Content: Slide-Deck Textbook in a timely manner. Your students will have a much higher probability of walking out of your course with the Promise of the course fulfilled.
-
Some courses are ongoing and will repeat each year, such as the Engaging
Live With The Four Areas of Mastery Course. Other courses, such as Mastering Course Content: Slide-Deck Textbook can be completed.
-
If you leave a faculty or administrator position permanently, please contact Jeri Echeverria and discuss the appropriateness of your being in this Program. We are committed to training those who teach students in higher education and that is our
charge.
-
You may use any portion of the Leadership Course in your class, however, if you do not lead the course as it is designed, do not make the Promise of the course to your students.
-
All coursework in this Program is exclusively designed for those who have registered in the new CCL Program. Do not share any of the materials in this program and do not invite others to participate in Program Webinars or Conference Calls.
-
Upon request, we will issue a participant a Certificate of Completion for the courses in the category Mastery of Course Content. In addition, and upon request, we will send a letter that evidences your participation or your progress to your
Department Chair or university administrator.
Integrity Policy
We expect you to keep your Word regarding the requirements:
if you do not keep your Word, we expect you to honor your Word (this is the model of integrity in the leadership course).
If you do not keep or honor your Word regarding these requirements, you are expected to remove yourself from the Program.
If, by your CCL renewal date, you have not completed the requirements for the year and you have not removed yourself from the Program, you will not have the opportunity to renew your registration in the Program.
If you have a request for coaching in effectively keeping or honoring your Word, you are always welcome to reach out to us.
This policy is effective as of 1 January 2024.
